BEACON HILL CONSULTING LLC is a financial consulting firm specializing in performance of Asset Based Lending collateral examinations for national and regional banks and financial lenders.  We are currently seeking a Senior Field Examiner for our headquarters in Pompton Lakes, NJ. The basic function of this position is to visit client locations to perform on-site evaluations of books and records including the testing of accounts receivable, inventory, cash, accounts payable, notes payable and, taxes payable. All findings should be analyzed and reported via written report.

RESPOSIBILITIES:
Test collateral for value, validity, and accuracy of reporting through the use of various industry-standard workpapers. Calculate borrowing availability. Analyze accounts receivable and inventory trends. Analyze financial reports to evaluate and report material changes in operating performance and/or balance sheet status.

• Assess the borrower’s overall systems and records and identify any areas of potential exposure.

• Review loan documentation and procedures for adherence to the Loan Agreement.

• Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting areas of exposure.

• Make recommendations for customer reporting if deemed necessary.

• Communicate with supervisors and bank personnel throughout the engagement to keep them apprised of any material events.

• Assist in training of new Field Examiners as required.
• Travel required (30%).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree required (accounting, finance or related field preferred).
• Accounting proficiency or fundamental experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years asset based lending experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills a plus.

Field  examiner  will  perform  pre-loan surveys as well as recurring field examinations.   Must  possess strong computer, interpersonal and analytical skills.   HNB  Field Audit team uses Asset Writer audit software as well as Asset Reader data analysis software (will train).

Greater Los Angeles area travel is a big plus for road weary examiners. 

Requirements:
A degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years experience as an Asset Based Auditor or equivalent CPA experience.  Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and PC skills including current Excel and Word Office 97 versions.
